OnePlus 10 Pro has finally been launched by the brand in China. The latest flagship is set to debut in India soon with the open sale starting in Spring, according to the official OnePlus website. Breaking its tradition, OnePlus only launched the Pro variant this time around, while the vanilla OnePlus 10 is expected to launch a few weeks later.
The OnePlus 10 Pro will arrive as the successor to last year’s OnePlus 9 Pro. It brings several upgrades like a 120Hz AMOLED LTPO 2.0 display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 50-megapixel triple cameras, and 80W fast charging. The smartphone joins the slew of other Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 devices like Moto Edge X30, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Realme GT 2 Pro, and iQOO 9 Pro. OnePlus 10 Pro launch date
The OnePlus 10 Pro launched in China on January 11th, 2022, at 2 pm local time (11:30 am IST). The launch event was live streamed on the brand’s official Weibo handle.
OnePlus has already put up a dedicated microsite for the latest flagship on its official India website. The page reveals that the open sale for the smartphone will begin in Spring. We can expect the OnePlus 10 Pro to launch in India in February or March.
OnePlus 10 Pro price
OnePlus has launched the 10 Pro in three configurations – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. These are priced at RMB 4,699 (~Rs 54,550), RMB 4,999 (~Rs 58,000), and RMB 5,299 (~Rs 61,500), respectively.
OnePlus 10 Pro sale date
As per OnePlus’s Weibo post, the upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro is already open for pre-registrations on retailer sites including OPPO Mall, TMall, and JD.com. The smartphone’s first sale will be carried out on January 13th. In India, the open sales for the smartphone will start this Spring.
OnePlus 10 Pro: Specifications and features
The OnePlus 10 Pro’s back panel has a horizontal rectangular camera module that blends with the metal chassis from the left side. It is similar to the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. The camera island houses three sensors along with an LED flash. OnePlus has once again partnered with Swedish camera-maker Hasselblad for the 10 Pro.
The right side of the OnePlus 10 Pro has an alert slider and power button whereas the volume rocker buttons are located on the left. The bottom part of the device has a USB-C port, speaker grille, and a SIM card slot. The latest smartphone is offered in Volcanic Black and Emerald Forest colours.
The OnePlus 10 Pro features a curved display with a punch-hole design. The 6.78-inch screen features AMOLED LTPO 2.0 panel and offers a Quad HD+ resolution of 1,440 x 3,216 pixels. Apart from these, the display has a variable refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The screen is protected by a layer of the latest Gorilla Glass Victus.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The device packs up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 80W fast charging.
The OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a 48MP OIS assisted main camera, 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 150-degree FOV, and an 8MP telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom and OIS support . Upfront, it features a 32MP selfie snapper.
