OnePlus achieves 10 million global sales milestone
OnePlus is celebrating its 8th anniversary as a smartphone maker. Pete Lau, the CEO of OnePlus released a Weibo post to talk about hitting a new milestone. He said that the company expected that the global sales of OnePlus phones would exceed 10 million by the end of this year. However, the target was achieved well ahead of the schedule through the recent Double Eleven (November 11th) shopping festival of China.
The company started its journey by offering affordably priced flagship phones, which later came to know as flagship killer. Later, it ventured into the premium smartphone segment. Since last year, the company has been launching the Nord line of mid-range handsets. It is now gearing up to unveil the OnePlus 10 lineup. Speculations are rife that the OnePlus 10 series will debut first in China by January 2022. The global markets including India are expected to receive it by March or April 2022.
