- The device will draw power from the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and will have a curved display
OnePlus is all set to unveil its latest range of flagship smartphones at Cloud 11 event on February 7. The OnePlus 11 lineup will have two devices, the OnePlus 11 and 11R. While the OnePlus 11 will be the flagship offering, the 11R will be a slightly toned-down version of its top-of-the-line sibling. It is already confirmed that the upcoming device will draw power from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Now the Chinese manufacturer has confirmed an important camera specification.
OnePlus posted on the Chinese social media site Weibo that the forthcoming OnePlus 11R will feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera sensor. It is similar to OnePlus 11’s 48MP Sony IMX58 ultra wide-angle sensor.
The camera on the OnePlus 11R will not be tuned by Hasselblad, but the company will allow users to capture RAW photos to retain maximum clarity. OnePlus has also revealed that the OnePlus 11R will have a curved display with a centrally aligned hole-punch cutout.
OnePlus 11R Expected Specifications
The OnePlus 11R 5G is expected to flaunt a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display with curved edges. Beneath the display will draw power from the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. In terms of camera, the smartphone is likely to feature a 50MP + 12MP +2MP triple camera setup at the back. It is said to run on Oxygen OS 13 on top of Android 13. The device is expected to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging.
