OnePlus has finally launched one of the most anticipated phone of the year in India – OnePlus 3T. It’s an upgraded variant of the current flagship smartphone from Oneplus.
The OnePlus 3T is one of the rare devices in India which are powered by the latest and most power efficient Snapdragon 821 processor. It is 10% more powerful than the Snapdragon 820 which powered the OnePlus 3.
Apart from the more powerful processor, the OnePlus 3T also gets a better front facing Camera and a bigger battery than its predecessor. It features a 16-megapixel front facing camera whereas the OnePlus 3 has a 13-megapixel camera. Talking about the battery, it packs in a 3400mAh battery against its predecessor’s 3000mAh battery.
All the other specs remain same including the looks and weight of the device. It has the same 6GB of RAM, 16-megapixel rear camera and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Oxygen OS on top. However, the OnePlus has promised to update the device with Android 7.0 Nougat before the end of this year. It was first unveiled worldwide on 15th of November and today on 2nd December it finally made its way through India. Also unlike its predecessor, OnePlus 3T is available in two storage variants of 64GB and 128GB. It is available in Gunmetal and Soft Gold colours. However, the 128GB variant is available in Gunmetal colour only. Similar to its predecessor, OnePlus 3T also sports an Optic AMOLED display putting a stop to all the rumours of IPS display.
Starting from today, the OnePlus 3T is on sale on Amazon India. The price of the 64GB storage variant is Rs 29,999 whereas the 128GB variant is priced at Rs 34,999.
