Chinese startup OnePlus’ current flagship OnePlus 3T made it to the Indian market in December last year. The phone, in fact, is no [majorly] different to its predecessor OnePlus 3. Few notable changes aside in terms of the processor, camera, battery, and price, there was hardly anything distinguishable. Well, not anymore! The company’s upcoming flagship smartphone — OnePlus 4 — is expected to hit the shelves by the end of Q2 2017. In fact, we have also come across many reports stating that the phone might go official in June this year. It isn’t surprising given that the OnePlus 3 was also launched in June last year. Therefore, it’s expected that OnePlus will stick to the similar timeline this year.
To clarify, the company hasn’t come out with any confirmation just yet. That said, all these never-ending rumours should be taken with a pinch of salt. Moving on, we just came across a concept video of the alleged OnePlus 4. It suggests that the upcoming OnePlus flagship will feature a bezel-less display, similar to the Xiaomi Mi MIX. If whatever shown in the video is true, the OnePlus 4 will boast of a 5.5-inch display featuring 2K resolution.

It will be powered by Qualcomm’s recently announced Snapdragon 835 chipset. It will feature 6GB RAM, which isn’t surprising given that both the OnePlus 3 and 3T also pack 6GB RAM. Furthermore, the OnePlus 4, similar to 3T, will arrive with two storage options — 64GB and 128GB. The device will feature 16MP + 12MP dual rear camera in addition to 8MP selfie camera and 4000mAh battery. It goes without saying that the OnePlus 4 will run Android 7.0 Nougat OS out-of-the-box.
