OnePlus 6 Price in India Leaked Ahead of Official Launch

OnePlus 6 is just round the corner and it is officially scheduled to launch on May 17th. However, the stream of leaks have no intention to stop, and new information about the phone’s pricing has just surfaced. In total, there are three confirmed variants of the phone: 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. A report by claims to have sourced the India pricing from a “reliable and verified source” for the lower two variants.

According to this report, the 64GB variant of the OnePlus 6 will be priced at Rs. 36,999 and the 128GB variant will cost Rs. 39,999. Although there is a 256GB variant of the phone as confirmed by the brand, pricing for the same has not been leaked yet. Given the price of the lower variants, we can expect the 256GB variant to cost somewhere around Rs. 42,999. The lowest variant of the OnePlus 5T started at Rs. 32,999 and its successor will cost Rs. 4,000 more which seems to be justified given that it comes with a design and performance overhaul.

OnePlus has been a victim of several leaks lately, they are also notorious for revealing a lot about their phones prior to the official launch. Among the things we already know about the phone is the fact that it will be the first phone by OnePlus to come with a notch on the top. This is a design element picked up by a lot of Android manufacturers after it showed up in the iPhone X last year.

It will also be the first OnePlus phone to come with water and dust resistance, as teased by the company. There will be a 3.5mm headphone jack for sure, the brand seems to be adamant on this one as other brands have ditched it off late. OnePlus has also confirmed that the phone will come in storage variants up to 256GB and 8GB of RAM. We also know that all variants will run on the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset.

The alert slider which has been present on OnePlus phones since inception is about to be revamped a bit. It will now support Slide to Focus functionality along with the ability to toggle sound profiles. With this, users can use the slider to focus on objects in the camera. Apart from all this, we can also expect a Marvel Avengers Limited edition of the phone as OnePlus has been teasing it on their social handles.
