The OnePlus 6T is scheduled to debut later this month. Recent reports have revealed that the handset will sport a new design and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It will be the first phone from OnePlus to lack a 3.5mm audio jack. As far as internals are concerned, the handset is rumored to borrow most of its specs from the OnePlus 6 that was announced in May this year. Now, a new report from MySmartPrice has revealed that OnePlus will be phasing out the 64 GB storage variant, which means that the base model of the OnePlus 6T will offer 128 GB of inbuilt storage. The report has also revealed the different variants, color options and pricing of the OnePlus 6T in India.
According to the report, the base variant of the OnePlus 6T will be arriving with a price tag of Rs. 37,999. It will include 6 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 128 GB. It will be available in a Mirror Black color.
The next variant of the OnePlus 6T is rumored to feature 8 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 128 GB. It is speculated to be priced at Rs. 40,999. It could be available in Mirror Black and Midnight Black color variants.
The highest configuration of the smartphone will be equipped with 8 GB of RAM and will have a native storage of 256 GB. It will cost Rs. 44,999 and may arrive only in a Midnight Black colour option.
The above leak has revealed that the OnePlus 6T variants will be costlier than its OnePlus 6 counterparts. In India, the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variants of the OnePlus 6 are priced at Rs. 39,999 and Rs. 43,999 respecitvely. Its base model that featured 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage was priced at Rs. 34,999.
The OnePlus 6T is launching on October 30th in India and it will be available exclusively via Amazon India starting from November 2nd. Customers who pre-book the OnePlus 6T can avail the all new OnePlus Type-C Bullets earphones for free.
As far as the specifications of the OnePlus 6T is concerned, it is expected to arrive with an Optic AMOLED screen measuring 6.4 inches with a waterdrop notch and Snapdragon 845 chipset. The handset may borrow the same front-facing and dual rear cameras from the OnePlus 6. The Chinese firm has confirmed that the OP6T will include a larger 3,700mAh battery. The smartphone will come preinstalled with the OxygenOS 9.0 flavored Android 9 Pie.
