OnePlus had announced the OnePlus 6T smartphone in India in Mirror Black and Midnight Black colour variants last month. The company has now announced that the device will be available in a Thunder Purple Edition in India.
The OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple Edition will be available to purchase in India starting November 16th. It will be arriving as a limited edition variant. Hence, buyers are advised to purchase before it goes out of stock. The new variant sports a frosted back panel, with the colour gradient changing from black at the top to purple towards the bottom.
The OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple Edition will be available at 2pm on the said date through Amazon India and OnePlus India’s online store. The new variant will be also available offline through Reliance Digital, Croma and OnePlus exclusive offline stores starting at 11am on the same day. The OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple model features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and it carries a price tag of Rs 41,999. The same RAM/storage model of the phone can be availed in Mirror Black and Midnight Black options.
The base model of the OnePlus 6T that features 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs Rs 37,999 and it comes in glossy Mirror Black color only. The highest configuration variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at Rs 45,999 and it can be bought in Midnight Black color with a matte finish.
Customers with HDFC credit and debit cards can take advantage of Rs 1,500 cashback on purchase of the OnePlus 6T. Reliance Jio is offering an instant cashback of Rs 5,400. The smartphone can be bought with three months of no-cost EMI through Amazon India and OnePlus India. Kotak Servify is offering 1-year damage protection for the OnePlus 6T customers. Buyers of OnePlus 6T can also avail Rs 500 discount on the purchase of Amazon Kindle.
The OnePlus 6T is the first OnePlus phone to feature an in-screen fingerprint reader. It is fitted with a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. The Snapdragon 845 SoC is at the helm of the device. For photography, it is equipped with a front-facing 16-megapixel shooter, and 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual rear cameras. The 3,700mAh battery of the OnePlus 6T carries support for 20W Dash charging. There is no microSD card slot on the device and it lacks a 3.5mm audio jack as well.
