Two weeks ahead of the launch event of its upcoming flagship smartphones, the spec sheet of OnePlus 7 has been leaked online in all its glory. This year, the company will announce two devices – a standard variant of the OnePlus 7 and a premium OnePlus 7 Pro. The former will come with few upgrades over the 6T while the later is expected to pack major upgrades in terms of design and hardware. Most of the specs have been leaked at one point or another, but this seems to be the complete spec sheet with all the important stuff. Let’s take a look below:
Rumored Specs :
Beginning with the Pro variant, this is a completely new smartphone. The OnePlus 7 Pro gets a larger 6.64-inch AMOLED display with curved edges. It bears a QHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The company had recently announced that the 7 Pro’s display has received an A+ rating from DisplayMate in terms of color accuracy, brightness, contrasts accuracy, and pixel density. The standard OnePlus 7 variant will sport a smaller 6.2-inch FHD+ display with an AMOLED panel and 60Hz refresh rate.
In terms of design, the OnePlus 7 Pro will be equipped with a pop-up selfie camera instead of a waterdrop notch as seen on the standard variant. Both the devices will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. On the imaging front, the Pro variant sports a triple rear camera setup comprising of 48MP main sensor, a telephoto secondary sensor, and a third wide-angle lens. On the other hand, the standard OnePlus 7 will come with a dual camera module of a 48MP main and secondary telephoto lens.
Under the hood, both the Pro and Standard variants will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 855 processor. The former is expected to pack a massive 10GB RAM while the later will be available with 6GB RAM. The OnePlus 7 Pro will draw its power from a 4,000mAh battery unit while the standard version will be backed by a slightly larger 4,150mAh cell. Both the devices will retain Warp Charge for fast charging. The handsets will ship with Android Pie based Oxygen OS out of the box.
In comparison, the standard OnePlus 7 doesn’t differ much and it seems quite similar to the OnePlus 6T. These are just leaked specifications and readers should take them with a pinch of salt.
The OnePlus 7 series will be launched globally on May 14th at 8:15 pm IST in Bangalore. We will keep you updated during the launch event.
