OnePlus could launch the OnePlus 7T series as early as the end of next month. The latest leak by notable tipster Evan Blass showcase sketches of a OnePlus smartphone featuring a multi-lens circular camera housing, which could be the 7T or 7T Pro. Notably, this is not the first public appearance of the device. Tipster Ishan Agarwal had shared images of a similarly designed smartphone in December 2018. At that time, it was not clear what the prototype was for. Now that Blass has shared the render of the phone, its arrival could be close at hand.
The circular primary camera module definitely sets the smartphone apart from the competition. It would allow users to differentiate the 7 Series from the 7T lineup.
The module also frees up additional space inside the device, which can be used to fit a slightly larger battery. But this is just speculation at the moment, as the official confirmation is yet to arrive. OnePlus is not the only Chinese manufacturer to be working on a circular camera mount on their upcoming device. The upcoming Huawei Mate 30 Pro is also rumored to be feature a similar camera setup at the rear.
