Continuing the tradition of launching flagship smartphones biannually and with a ‘T’ moniker, the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro are tipped to launch in September alongside the OnePlus TV. A few days ago, we shared exclusive 5K renders and a 360-degree video of the upcoming OnePlus 7T in collaboration with OnLeaks. Now CAD-based renders of the higher-end OnePlus 7T Pro have been leaked by OnLeaks once again, this time in partnership with 91mobiles.
Alongside the standard edition, the OnePlus 7T Pro will also come in McLaren Edition just like last year’s OnePlus 6T. According to the leaked renders, both smartphones will look the same as the OnePlus 7 Pro. OnLeaks believes there are no external differences to be seen between the current flagship and its successor. However, the leaked image shows a new Haze blue colour option. Both the Pro and McLaren Edition smartphones boast of a curved edge-to-edge display with a pop-up camera module. The devices are likely to retain a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate panel and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The back panel on 7T Pro looks the same as its predecessor, while the McLaren Edition seems to have a textured pattern on the entire back panel. The special edition phone retains signature Papaya Orange colour that runs from the middle of both sides and covers the bottom edges. Apart from this, the OnePlus 7T Pro duo are fitted with a vertically aligned triple rear camera setup at the centre, instead of the new circular camera module we saw on the OnePlus 7T renders.
Both the OnePlus 7T Pro and Mclaren Editions is expected to be equipped with a Snapdragon 855+ chipset. The devices may be powered by a slightly larger 4,080mAh battery unit with support for 30W Warp Charge.
OnePlus is likely to announce the OnePlus 7T Pro and Mclaren Edition on September 26th, where the company is also expected to unveil its first television, the OnePlus TV.
