Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is gearing up to launch its next-generation OnePlus 8 series. The company hasn’t confirmed the OnePlus 8 models, however, the lineup is rumoured to consist of standard, Pro and Lite variants. All three devices have been leaked plenty of times in the past. E-commerce portal Amazon has been a partner of OnePlus since its debut in the Indian market. Now, the upcoming OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro have appeared on the Amazon India website. The listing confirms these two as the company’s upcoming smartphones and hints at an imminent launch in the country.

Amazon India’s affiliate page lists a fixed advertising fee for several products including smartphones. The shopping portal reportedly updates its affiliate devices list on a monthly basis. Under the “NEW: Mobiles Phones at 1% Fixed Advertising Fee” category, the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro have been listed along with the OnePlus 7T series and OnePlus 7 Pro. OnePlus is yet to officially confirm the launch date of OnePlus 8 series.

Going by the past leaks and rumours, both the standard and Pro models are expected to arrive with a curved display panel featuring a punch-hole camera cutout. Both the smartphones are said to be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage. The devices will also come with support for 5G connectivity. The Pro variant is rumoured to sport a quad-rear camera setup while the standard OnePlus 8 will have a triple camera module.
Based on the recent reports, the OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to arrive with a 120Hz refresh rate screen and wireless charging. However, the standard variant may come with a 90Hz display.
