The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro were launched globally earlier this week. While the prices in the US are on the higher side, the brand recently took to Twitter to announce that the Indian price for these phones will be more competitive than those for the US market. More recently, OnePlus revealed the pricing of the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro in China, which start from RMB 3,999 (~Rs 43,300) for the base model and RMB 5,399 (~Rs 58,400) for the Pro model. Now, the company has gone ahead and announced the Indian pricing exclusively for Red Cable members in the country. For the uninitiated, the Red Cable Club is exclusive to OnePlus phone users and offers several benefits including free cloud storage and OnePlus Care benefits.

The OnePlus 8 series prices start from Rs 41,999 in India
The OnePlus 8 in India costs Rs 41,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant (Glacial Green), Rs 44,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model (Onyx Black/Glacial Green) and Rs 49,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model (Onyx Black, Glacial Green, Interstellar Glow). The OnePlus 8 Pro, on the other hand retails at Rs 54,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant (Onyx Black/Glacial Green), and Rs 59,999 for the 12GB + 256GB option (Onyx Black/Glacial Green/Ultramarine Blue). OnePlus also announced the pricing of Bullet Wireless Z in India, which will set you back by Rs 1,999. Availability of the devices hasn’t been announced yet.
OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro specifications and features
The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro feature Fluid AMOLED displays, with the former getting a 90Hz FHD+ panel, and the Pro variant featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and QHD+ screen resolution. Powering both smartphones is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC with an X55 modem for the 5G connectivity. The handsets boot Android 10 with OxygenOS on top. The OnePlus 8 comes with a 4,300mAh battery, while the Pro variant is powered by a 4,510mAh cell. Both batteries are equipped with Warp Charge 30T fast charging. The Pro variant also gets 30W wireless charging support, as well as reverse wireless charging. The OnePlus 8 Pro is also the first phone from the brand to flaunt an IP68 rating.
In the imaging department, the OnePlus 8 features a 48MP + 16MP + 2MP setup, while the Pro variant gets 48MP + 48MP + 8MP + 5MP quad-camera module. In the front, both handsets have a punch-hole cutout housing a 16MP selfie camera.
