With the impending launch of the OnePlus 8 and the 8 Pro, eight new official cases surfaced online via reliable tipster Evan Blass. Although there is no official confirmation on the number of cases OnePlus is currently working on, the latest leak reveals five covers for the OnePlus 8 and three for the 8 Pro. Apart from the Karbon and the Sandstone Cyan covers which are designed for both models, the rest of the cases are unique to either variant.
Leaked official cases of the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro
Out of the eight, the Sandstone Cyan case is common to Glacial Green variants of the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. OnePlus has also designed a Purple Sandstone cover to compliment the Interstellar Glow variant of the OnePlus 8. Another case both smartphones have in common is Karbon. Apart from this, the OnePlus 8 Pro will feature a Sandstone Black case, while the OnePlus 8 will have Nylon and Clear cases. OnePlus could launch additonal cases for both phones at launch, but it appears that these ones will be made available at launch.
Recent leaks also revealed the colour variants of the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. While both smartphones will come in Onyx Black and Glacial Green hues, the OnePlus 8 will have an exclusive Interstellar Glow variant, while the 8 Pro will flaunt an Ultramarine Blue paint job.
The OnePlus 8 is a standard upgrade to the OnePlus 7T, while the Pro variant brings in several upgrades across the board. The OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to debut as the first handset from the brand to feature wireless charging and an IP68-rated chassis. The Chinese firm confirmed that pricing of the OnePlus 8 series will not exceed $1,000 (~Rs. 77,400) in the US.
