OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro spotted on TENAA with 5G capabilities

Rumours regarding the launch of the upcoming OnePlus 8 series have been rife on the internet for a while now, with the company occasionally teasing the lineup. The design of the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 Lite appeared a few months ago. The OnePlus 8 was recently spotted on the Geekbench database, revealing some of its key specifications. The most recent sightings of the lineup come from China’s TENAA regulatory body, hinting at an imminent launch. While the OnePlus 8 and its Pro sibling were spotted on TENAA, the Lite was missing from the listing, which could mean it would launch at a later date.

According to the TENAA listing, the OnePlus 8 (model number OnePlus IN2010) and the OnePlus 8 Pro (model number OnePlus IN2020) are 5G-ready phones. In fact, the company teased its upcoming 5G portfolio in the past. According to its latest poster, OnePlus confirmed that its India lineup will feature 5G connectivity. The OnePlus 8 was also spotted on the BIS website, which hints at an impending launch in India.  Unfortunately, the specifications of the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro haven’t yet appeared on TENAA. The next OnePlus flagship phones are expected to go official in the second week of April.
