OnePlus 8 Pro leaked image reveals quad camera setup

OnePlus is set to unveil its upcoming flagship OnePlus 8 series in the next few months. The lineup is expected to include a standard, Pro and Lite variant of the smartphone. Last October, we got our first look at the OnePlus 8 Pro through CAD-based renders. Now live images of the smartphone have surfaced on Weibo which is in line with the past renders and leaks. The pictures show a quad rear camera setup similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro with three sensors aligned vertically in the centre and a 3D ToF unit placed on the left side with an LED flash below it.

The leaked hands-on images reveal a curved display and a punch-hole camera cutout located at the top left corner. The images and past renders hint at the confirmed camera setup and design, however, readers are advised to take this with a grain of salt.

OnePlus 8 Pro specifications and features

The OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to feature a curved AMOLED display measuring 6.65-inches and bearing 2K resolution. The brand has already confirmed that it will use its 120Hz fluid display technology in its smartphones this year and last month a live image revealed the Pro variant with the higher refresh rate screen. Users will also get the option to switch between 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz refresh rates.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 7 Pro is rumoured to come with the Snapdragon 865 processor with 5G support. The chipset will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. There is not much much information on the camera setup but the device is tipped to sport a 64MP or 108MP primary sensor.

The OnePlus 8 Pro is also reported to come with an IP68 dust and water resistance rating and feature wireless charging technology.
