OnePlus 8 Pro official render leaked, reveals new green colour variant

After the complete specifications of the OnePlus 8 Pro were leaked earlier today, revealing IP68 certification and 30W wireless charging, the device is in the news again. The phone’s official press renders have been leaked on the internet. The upcoming handset is rumoured to launch on April 15th. The OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to arrive alongside the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Lite smartphones. The leaked images show significant differences between OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 7T Pro.

OnePlus 8 Pro: design and leaked specifications

The leaked image shows a punch-hole display and a quad rear camera setup. The camera configuration is arranged in a pill-like design in the centre while the fourth lens sits on top of the LED flash. Beneath this setup is the company’s logo and at the bottom of the rear panel, the OnePlus brand name marks its presence. A USB Type-C port can be seen on the bottom, and the 3.5mm headphone jack is missing as expected.

In terms of specifications, the device will feature a 6.78-inch S-AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is likely to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The device will feature UFS 3.0 storag, and come in 128GB and 256GB variants. An in-display fingerprint reader can also be expected on the phone.

In addition to this, OnePlus 8 Pro could play host to a 48MP primary camera. It is likely to be assisted by a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, an 8MP sensor and a 5MP lens. For selfies and video calling, the device will feature a 16MP sensor. Rumours about the phone’s 5G connectivity are also evident. Furthermore, it might house a 4,510mAh battery with support for 30W wireless charging, Warp Charge 30T and 3W reverse charging. It would run Android 10 with Oxygen OS on top and come in three shades – black, blue and green.
