According to the report, the OnePlus 8T is codenamed ‘Kebab’ and it features a 6.55-inch S-AMOLED display. The OnePlus 8’s AMOLED screen features a 90Hz refresh rate, but the OnePlus 8T will offer a 120Hz refresh rate, just like the OnePlus 8 Pro.

The OnePlus 8T will be sporting a quad-camera setup that will include a primary 48-megapixel camera, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The publication claimed that the 48-megapixel main camera of the OnePlus 8T will produce better shots than the primary camera of the OnePlus 8.

The Snapdragon 865 Plus will be at the helm of the OnePlus 8T. The base model of the device will offer 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The leak has no information on the battery capacity and the front-facing camera of the device.

Last year, the OnePlus 7T debuted as the first phone to deliver Android 10 out-of-the-box. This year, the OnePlus 8T could be the first phone to ship with Android 11. The OS will be skinned with the latest OxygenOS 11 UI.

OnePlus 8T launch date

The publication stated that OnePlus is planning to announce the OnePlus by September-end or by the first week of October. The report has no information on the specs and launch date of the OnePlus 8T Pro.
