OnePlus 9R 5G has been launched in India alongside the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. While the latter two have been launched globally, the OnePlus 9R 5G is an India-exclusive mid-tier gaming smartphone. The OnePlus 9R 5G is also the most affordable of the trio and comes with a toned-down spec sheet.

The latest mid-range smartphone from the brand features a 6.55-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 870 SoC, 48-megapixel quad rear cameras, and Android 11-based Oxygen OS. OnePlus 9R sale date and where to buy
The OnePlus 9R will be available at OnePlus Experience Stores, authorized stores, partner stores, the OnePlus online store, and the Amazon India website. The smartphone will go on sale in India starting April 15th.
OnePlus 9R launch offers
OnePlus will offer Rs 2,000 instant discount on payments made through SBI credit cards and EMI transactions starting March 31st. Additionally, interested customers will be able to avail up to 6 months no cost EMI using major credit cards on Amazon, and SBI credit cards on OnePlus.in and offline stores.
Jio users will be entitled to benefits worth Rs 6,000 on select prepaid plans with the purchase of the OnePlus 9R. Lastly, customers will be able to avail 1TB cloud storage with Red Cable Life plan and 120GB with Red Cable Care plan starting March 23rd.

The OnePlus 9R 5G comes with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ screen resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Coming to the core specifications, the OnePlus 9R 5G has the Snapdragon 870 SoC ticking at the core. The chipset is accompanied by up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The performance is further aided by VC cooling and Pro Gaming mode.
The OnePlus 9R 5G features a quad camera setup on the rear. The module comprises a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary camera, which is accompanied by a 16-megapixel Sony IMX481 ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel monochrome unit. On the front, there’s a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.
The smartphone ships with Oxygen OS 11 based on Android 11 and is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W Warp Charging. OnePlus claims that the battery is capable of offering a full day’s power in just 15 minutes of charging.
