OnePlus 9RT and Buds Z2 lndia launch seems imminent as their support pages have gone live on OnePlus India’s website. The OnePlus 9RT will be succeeding the OnePlus 9R smartphone that debuted earlier this year in India. As the moniker reveals, the Buds Z2 is a successor for the last year’s Buds Z TWS earbuds.
Some reports had claimed that the 9R’s successor will be called OnePlus RT. However, the support page mentions that the upcoming smartphone could eventually launch as the ‘OnePlus 9RT’ afterall. The specifications of the 9RT are no secret since it had launched in China back in October.

The above-shown screenshot shared by tipster Mukul Sharma in collaboration with 91mobiles shows that the OnePlus 9RT is listed under ‘Phone’ and the Buds Z2 is listed under ‘Accessories on OnePlus India’s website. The Buds Z2’s support page states ‘page is coming soon’ and a Google search reveals that it will be advertised with ‘Play with Silence’ tagline.
OnePlus 9RT, Buds Z2 lndia launch date and price
Reliable tipster Max Jambor had recently hinted that the OnePlus 9RT will be launching on December 16th in India. The 9RT is expected to arrive in two variants such as 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The latter is likely to be priced at Rs 39,999 or Rs 37,999. It will come in Hacker Black and Nano Silver colours. The OnePlus Buds Z2 is likely to be priced under Rs 6,000. It may come in Obsidian Black and Pearl White colours.
OnePlus 9RT specifications (expected)
The OnePlus 9RT has a 6.62-inch AMOLED FHD+ display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Its front side features a 16-megapixel selfie camera and its back panel has a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 16-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel triple camera unit.
Under the hood, the 9RT features Snapdragon 888 chip, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,500mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 65T. It will run on OxygenOS 12 UI, which will be overlaid on Android 11 or 12 OS. For security, it has an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
OnePlus Buds Z2 specifications (expected)
The Indian variant of the OnePlus Buds Z2 is expected to offer features like Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and 27 hours of battery life. The Buds Z2 will be able to last for up to 5 hours by charging it for 10 minutes. The Buds Z2 that was announced with 9RT in China offers a 38-hour battery life.
