OnePlus 9RT price in India has been tipped in a new report by The Mobile Indian. OnePlus announced the OnePlus 9R as an affordable flagship phone in markets like India and China earlier this year. A few months ago, the updated version of the phone called the OnePlus 9RT was made official in China. It is speculated that the 9RT could be finally heading to India this month.
A listing of a device named OnePlus RT was spotted at the Google Play Console recently. The same moniker was also seen in the database of Google Supported Devices List and in a Google ad by Amazon India. This indicated that the OnePlus 9RT may get rebranded as OnePlus RT in India. However, the above-mentioned publication claimed that the device will break cover with the OnePlus 9RT moniker.
OnePlus 9RT price in India (rumoured)
The report states that the OnePlus 9RT’s 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will be priced at Rs 39,999. One of the sources of the publication claimed the same variant could be priced as low as Rs 37,999. The report also mentions that the 9RT will also come in 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It added that this may not be easily available for purchase in the market.
OnePlus 9RT launch date (rumoured)
Reliable tipster Max Jambor recently hinted that the OnePlus 9RT will be debuting on December 16th in India. Hence, it is likely that the first teasers of the OnePlus 9RT may appear on Amazon India in the next few days. Rumours have it that the OnePlus Buds Z2 TWS earbuds may also go official on the said date alongside the 9RT.
OnePlus 9RT specifications and features (expected)
The OnePlus 9RT has a 6.62-inch AMOLED FHD+ display that produces a 120Hz refresh rate. For photography, the 9RT offers a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 16-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit. The device will boot to OxygenOS 12. It remains to be seen whether it will debut as the company’s first device running on Android 12 in India.
The Snapdragon 888 drives the OnePlus 9RT. It may come with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device may carry support for 65W fast charging for its 4,500mAh battery. For security, it will come with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The device is likely to be available in Hacker Black and Nano Silver colours.
OnePlus Bud Z2 Indian variant: what to expect
The OnePlus Buds Z2 is expected to arrive in Obsidian Black and Pearl White colours in India. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Indian edition of the Buds Z2 will offer 27 hours of battery life and Active Noise Cancellation. He added a 10-minute charge will allow the Buds Z2’s Indian variant to offer 5 hours of playback. It is unclear whether the rest of the specs of the Buds Z2 for India will be identical to its Chinese variant, which offers a 38-hours battery life.
