OnePlus Ace has been launched in China. At the beginning of this year, the company unveiled the OnePlus 10 Pro flagship phone, which was subsequently made available in other markets, including India. Now, the brand is back with its first Ace-branded smartphone. Rumours are rife that the OnePlus 10R 5G, debuting in India on April 29th, 2022, will be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace.

OnePlus Ace supports 150W SuperVOOC charging

The OnePlus Ace has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that produces a Full HD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is the first OnePlus phone to feature a display with a centrally positioned punch-hole. A layer of Gorilla Glass 5 protects Ace’s display.

As for the optics, the OnePlus phone comes with a 16-megapixel selfie snapper and an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel primary camera. The rear camera setup also includes an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 120-degree FOV and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The phone runs on the Android 12 OS, which is overlaid with ColorOS 12.1.

The Dimensity 8100-Max chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, powers the device. The handset comes with up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It has a 4,500mAh battery that carries support for 150W SuperVOOC charging.

The Ace offers other features such as dual SIM support, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. An alert slider, a microSD card, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are some of the features that are not available on the device.

OnePlus Buds N and Buds Wireless Z2

The Buds N TWS earbuds come with key features such as 12.4mm audio drivers, Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, a charging case with a 480mAh battery and a USB Type-C port, up to 30 hours of battery life, and an IP55 rating. Reports have claimed that the Buds N will debut as the OnePlus Nord Buds during the OnePlus 10R 5G launch event in India. OnePlus announced the Buds Wireless Z2 neckband with a price tag of Rs 1,999 last month in India. The same neckband has also arrived in China.

The OnePlus Ace comes in four variants: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. They are priced RMB 2,499 (~Rs 29,500), RMB, 2,699 (~Rs 31,900), RMB 2,999 (~Rs 35,400), and RMB 3,499 (~Rs 41,450), respectively). It comes in black and blue colours. The first sale of the device will be carried out on April 26th, 2022, in China.
