OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is all set to launch alongside the OnePlus 11 5G on February 7th, 2023. Ahead of the global launch event, the company has confirmed that Buds Pro 2 will be one of the first TWS earbuds to adopt Google’s signature spatial audio feature for Android 13. It will provide users with 3D audio similar to that found in a movie theater.

As per our exclusive report, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will be priced at Rs 11,999 in India. The premium earbuds will replace the original Buds Pro, which went official last year. Here are all the new details about Buds Pro 2 confirmed by the brand.

OnePlus has worked with Google to offer an optimised spatial audio experience on the Buds Pro 2. This allows the earbuds to simulate the immersive, multi-dimensional experience found in theatres. OnePlus’ spatial rendering algorithm and IMU sensor enhance the spatial audio feature of the Buds Pro 2 by offering better stability, compatibility with app expansions, and enabling other apps to use its technology.

For seamless connection on Android devices, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will come equipped with Android’s Fast Pair feature, which will enable them to instantly pair with nearby Android devices with a single pair. The TWS earbuds will also offer Android’s audio switching feature, which will make it possible to connect to two Android devices at the same time and switch between them seamlessly without the need to fiddle with Bluetooth settings.

OnePlus Buds Pro 2 specifications (rumoured)

Previous reports have revealed that the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will arrive with 11mm and 6mm audio drivers with LDHC 4.0 spatial audio support. It will offer up to 45dB adaptive Active Noise Cancellation. With ANC, it can last for up to 6 hours and with the feature turned off, it can offer up to 9 hours of audio playback time.

The Buds Pro 2 will offer a battery life of up to 38 hours. Some of its other features include wrap charging, wireless charging, Bluetooth 5.2, 69ms low-latency, and an IP55 rating. It will come in black, green, and white colours.
