OnePlus recently hosted its Cloud 11 event, where the company unveiled a bunch of new devices, including the OnePlus 11 series, OnePlus Pad and more. Along with the regular OnePlus Buds Pro 2, the company also announced an India-specific OnePlus Buds Pro 2R.
At the launch, OnePlus didn’t reveal anything about the device’s availability. However, now the microsite for the OnePlus Buds Pro 2R is live on Amazon India.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2R Specifications
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2R shares almost identical spec sheets with the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. It misses out on the head tracking feature, which means there is no spatial audio support on the device. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2R also lacks wireless charging.
Apart from that, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2R packs all the goodies from its bigger sibling OnePlus Buds Pro 2. It will come with 11mm dynamic drivers with 6mm planar diaphragm drivers. The TWS will also feature active noise cancellation (ANC) with up to 48 dB, transparency mode and ultra-low latency gaming mode.
In order to provide better audio quality OnePlus has partnered with Dynaudio. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2R also comes with pressure-sensitive controls and can adjust volume, take/reject calls, and skip tracks. It will also support LHDC 5.0, AAC, SBC, and LC3 audio codecs. Regarding connectivity, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2R will come with Bluetooth 5.3. According to OnePlus, the upcoming TWS will last up to 9 hours (without ANC) and up to 39 hours (without ANC) on a single charge.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2R Price and Availability
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2R will come in Obsidian Black and Misty White. It will cost Rs 9,999 and will be available on Amazon India from March 2023.
