OnePlus hosted an online event for the launch of OnePlus 8T 5G and the special edition Gray Ash OnePlus Nord tonight. At the same event, the brand also launched the OnePlus Buds Z true wireless earphones and OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition wireless earphones. The former sports an AirPods Pro like stem-design, while the latter are neckband-style wireless earphones. The brand also launched the OnePlus Powerbank alongside.

The OnePlus Buds Z and Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition are the toned-down variants of the original OnePlus Buds and OnePlus Bullets Wireless. The former features 10mm drivers, a Dirac Audio Tuner, Dolby Atmos, and five hours of battery life, among others. The Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition, on the other hand, is an India-exclusive offering and will offer 9.2mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.0, and fast charging support.
OnePlus Buds Z specifications and features
The OnePlus Buds Z comes as the toned-down model of OnePlus Buds
The OnePlus Budz Z feature silicone ear tips for passive noise cancelling, unlike the original OnePlus Buds which feature a semi in-ear fit. The earbuds are rated IP55 for water and sweat resistance. OnePlus has reduced the drivers’ size to 10mm from 13.4mm on the OnePlus Buds.
The OnePlus Buds Z are equipped with touch controls and auto-pause when removed from the ear. Other features include Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity, Gaming Mode and Google Assistant, among others.
Coming to the battery, the earbuds offer up to five hours of music playback on a single charge. The charging case is rated to provide up to 20 hours of backup. OnePlus has also included fast charging support, which offers up to three hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging.
The brand announced a special Steven Harrington OnePlus Buds Z with quirky graffiti design on them. However, this edition is not available in India, which only gets the standard white and gray colourways.
OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition specifications and features
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition has been priced at Rs 1,999 in India
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition shares its core specifications and design with the standard Bullets Wireless Z but is more bass-heavy as the name suggests. The earphones feature 9.2mm drivers and low latency of 100ms. The Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition are also equipped with environmental noise cancelling.
Design-wise, the Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition come with in-ear angular silicone tips. The earphones are IP55 rated, which means they can survive water sprays for 5-10 minutes and are dust-resistant. OnePlus is offering these in Reverb Red and Bass Blue colours.
The new launch comes with Warp Charge technology and offers up to 10 hours of usage with just 10 minutes of charging.
OnePlus Powerbank specifications and features
The OnePlus Powerbank comes with 10,000mAh capacity and 18W fast charging
The OnePlus Powerbank comes with a capacity of 10,000mAh and supports 18W fast charging. OnePlus claims that the powerbank is capable of detecting the fast charging protocols on various smartphones and adjusting the output accordingly. There’s also a low current mode, which can be activated by double-clicking the power button and is ideal for devices like Bluetooth headsets and wearables.
OnePlus is bundling a 2-in-1 charging cable with dual micro USB/Type-C interfaces for universal compatibility. The powerbank is being offered in black and green colours.
OnePlus Buds Z, Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition and OnePlus Powerbank price in India
The OnePlus Buds Z are priced at Rs 3,190 in India. The earbuds will be available at a special pre-booking price of Rs 2,990 and will go on pre-order from October 15th on Oneplus.in and the OnePlus Store app. The brand will start accepting pre-orders on Amazon, Flipkart, and OnePlus exclusive offline stores from October 26th and the accessory will be made available across all channels starting November 2nd.
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition will retail at Rs 1,999 and will be sold through limited sales on OnePlus.in and the OnePlus Store app on October 15th. On October 16th, there will be limited sales on Amazon, Flipkart and OnePlus exclusive offline stores. The Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition will also go on open sale across all channels from November 2nd.
Lastly, the OnePlus Powerbank has been priced at Rs 1,299 and will be sold through limited sales on same dates and channels as the Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition.
