OnePlus launched its latest flagship smartphone OnePlus 6 just a few days back. Along with the phone, they also unveiled the new OnePlus Bullets Wireless earphones. OnePlus already had a wired earphone termed as the Bullets v2 and with this addition, it is foraying into the wireless territory. The new wireless earphones cost Rs. 3,999 and will be available from June.
One of the major highlights of the Bullets wireless is that it comes with Dash Charge technology. According to OnePlus, it lasts up to 5 hours with a charge of just 10 minutes. And with a full charge, you get 8 hours of battery backup. This is comparatively better than some of the other wireless earphones in the market.
These are magnetic earbuds and OnePlus claims to offer an “intuitive experience” with them. One of the ways this happens is when you remove the earbuds and they click together magnetically, the music automatically pauses. When you pull them apart to put it back in your ears, the music starts playing automatically.
OnePlus uses Energy Tubes which helps in stabilizing the sounds inside the earphone to offer a clear output. It also helps in drastically reducing noise generation. This is achieved by minimizing the reverberation of frequencies inside the earphone. It also supports Qualcomm’s aptX Bluetooth technology that provides a high quality listening experience. For connectivity, the Bullets wireless users Bluetooth 4.1.
You can also use Google Assistant directly by giving commands when you have the earphone on. It can help you change music, make calls, listen to directions and do much more. Google will keep adding new features for using Assistant via such earphones.
As of now, OnePlus hasn’t mentioned the launch date for the Bullets wireless but it is expected sometime in June.
