OnePlus’ foldable phone will launch in the second half of 2023. The company confirmed its arrival at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023. This indicates that the device will be stacked against the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, which is expected to launch in August this year.
Samsung has been ruling the foldable market in India as well as other countries. However, it appears that it will soon face competition from brands like OnePlus and Tecno, which have just launched the Phantom V Fold foldable phone in India. At the moment, nothing is known about the OnePlus Fold’s specifications. Some reports have claimed that it could be a rebranded or tweaked version of the OPPO Find N2 foldable phone, which was announced in China in December 2022.

OnePlus foldable launching in Q3
OnePlus is yet to confirm the name of its first foldable phone. However, it is being tentatively dubbed the OnePlus Fold by the rumour mill. However, there is a possibility that it could be called the OnePlus V Fold since the name was spotted in a trademark filing. At the OnePlus 11 launch event, the company confirmed that its first phone will launch in the third quarter of this year.
Kinder Liu, President, and COO of OnePlus said at the MWC 2023 event, “Our first foldable phone will have the signature OnePlus fast and smooth experience. We want to launch a device that aims to be at the pinnacle experience of today’s foldable market.”
OnePlus Fold could be based on OPPO Find N2

OPPO Find N2
OPPO unveiled the Find N2 and N2 Flip foldable phones in China last year. While the Find N2 Flip has launched globally and is expected to hit the Indian market this month.
