The OnePlus Nord 2 5G’s display details have been officially announced. The company confirmed that it will be featuring a high refresh rate supporting AMOLED display that supports HDR10+ content.

OnePlus will be announcing the OnePlus Nord 2 5G as well as OnePlus Buds Pro on July 22nd in India. Ahead of the launch, the company is gradually revealing the features of the Nord 2 5G. It is likely that the company will be confirming some more features of the smartphone in the days leading up to the launc.

OnePlus Nord 2 5G to flaunt a 90Hz AMOLED display

OnePlus revealed that the OnePlus Nord 2 5G has a 6.43-inch Fluid AMOLED panel that offers a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ support. It did not confirm the resolution of the screen but is likely to support a Full HD resolution like the original OnePlus Nord that debuted last year.

While the original Nord featured dual selfie cameras, the Nord 2’s display is likely to feature a single front camera. The AMOLED panel will be integrated with a fingerprint sensor.

The OnePlus Nord 2 5G has a 32MP front camera, and its rear shell has a triple camera unit with a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX766) primary lens. The main camera is likely to be coupled with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel camera.

The Nord 2 5G is powered by the Dimensity 1200 chip and a 4,500mAh battery that supports 30T Warp Charge fast charging. It is expected to arrive in variants like 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage.

As far as the OnePlus Buds Pro is concerned, they will be an upgraded version of the last year’s OnePlus Buds. The new TWS earbuds is expected to come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).
