The OnePlus Nord 2 has been leaked via exclusive renders shared by 91mobiles in collaboration with reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer aka Onleaks. The CAD-based renders give us a first look at the upcoming Nord 2.

The OnePlus Nord 2 will arrive as the successor to last year’s OnePlus Nord. The Nord lineup includes the company’s non-flagship offerings and caters to the mid-range price segment. Specifications of the OnePlus Nord 2 were also leaked earlier this month and it will arrive with quite a few upgrades compared to its predecessor.

The OnePlus Nord 2’s camera module looks similar to the OnePlus 9 series
The leaked renders indicate that the OnePlus Nord 2 borrows its design cues from the OnePlus 9 series. The device features a punch-hole camera cutout located at the top left corner of the screen and the display is surrounded by thin bezels. The back panel sports a rectangular camera module housing two large sensors located vertically and below it there is a smaller sensor alongside an LED flash.
The alert slider and the power button are located on the right edge while the volume rocker is on the left side of the phone. At the bottom, there is a USB-C port, SIM tray and a speaker grill. Unfortunately, the renders don’t reveal a 3.5mm headphone jack. The report adds that the OnePlus Nord 2 is expected to measure 160 x 73.8 x 8.1mm. The smartphone is seen in a Grey colour, however, there could be more colour variants at launch.
OnePlus Nord 2 specifications and features (expected)
The OnePlus Nord 2 is expected to come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display bearing FHD+ resolution. It will feature a 90Hz refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is tipped to come with a 50MP main sensor, 8MP secondary lens and a 2MP third shooter. The device will have a single 32MP front-facing snapper.
Internally, the OnePlus Nord 2 will reportedly be powered by a Dimensity 1200 processor. It will be offered in up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configurations. The smartphone is expected to come with an upgraded battery cell of 4,500mAh with support for 30W or 65W fast charging. The device will likely ship with Android 11 out of the box and could come with connectivity options like 5G, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB-C port.
