Upcoming OnePlus Nord 2T is now being tested in India, Pricebaba has learned through industry sources. We have also obtained a sketch that gives a first look at the unique rear camera module of the OnePlus phone codenamed Karen, which seems to be the Nord 2T. A recent report claimed that it will replace the OnePlus Nord 2 (review) from 2021.

Rumours surrounding the Nord 2T have revealed that it will come with improvements in departments like chipset and charging capabilities over the Nord 2. The camera module sketch that has appeared today reveals that the Nord 2T will also come with an enhanced design.

The sketch that we have procured only showcases the camera island of the OnePlus Nord 2T, and not the entire back panel. As can be seen in the image, its rear camera module consists of a pair of camera rings. The top one seemingly houses the primary camera, and alongside it is a warm flashlight. The second camera ring has an ultrawide camera and another camera. A cool flashlight is placed alongside the second camera ring.
We have also learned that the Nord 2T’s camera module has curved edges. Past reports have revealed that its camera setup will include a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel monochrome camera.
OnePlus Nord 2T India launch seems imminent
OnePlus has started testing the Nord 2T, codenamed Karen, in India. Hence, it appears that its official launch could be a couple of weeks away. This seems to be in line with a previous report that claimed that the Nord 2T will debut around April or May. The industry source also confirms that OnePlus phone codenamed Karen will use plastic frames for sides and sandstone finish for the back panel.

The OnePlus Nord 2T is expected to feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It will feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (monochrome) triple camera unit. It will come preinstalled with Android 12 OS with OxygenOS 12 on top.
The Nord 2T is expected to feature the Dimensity 1300, which was announced recently. It will pack a 4,500mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support. The device is expected to arrive with 6GB / 8GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of built-in storage.
OnePlus Nord 2T price in India (rumoured)
The OnePlus Nord 2T is expected to cost between Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000. To recall, the OnePlus Nord 2 was announced with a starting price of Rs 27,999 in July 2021.
