Upcoming OnePlus Nord 2T’s launch date could be drawing near. Publication Digit India has teamed up with reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer to reveal the specifications of the Nord 2T. The leaked specs show that OnePlus may position the Nord 2T above the Nord 2, which was announced in July 2021.

The OnePlus Nord 2 (review) is powered by the Dimensity 1200, and it carries support for 65W charging. The Nord 2T leak reveals that it will be powered by the unannounced Dimensity 1300, which appears to be a more powerful SoC. In addition, it will carry support for 80W rapid charging.

The OnePlus Nord 2T will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display. It carries support for a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. Since the images of the Nord 2T haven’t yet surfaced, there is no word on its front and rear design. Probably, it will arrive with an enhanced design as compared to the Nord 2.
The Nord 2T will have a 32-megapixel camera for shooting selfies and video calls. The rear camera unit will have a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel monochrome lens. It is expected to run on Android 12 OS with OxygenOS 12 on top.
The Dimensity 1300 will be at the helm of the device. It will arrive with 6GB / 8GB / 12GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of native storage. It will include a 4,500mAh battery that will carry support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. Probably, it will be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
As can be seen, the Nord 2T shares most of its specs with the Nord 2. However, it is expected to arrive with a better chipset and faster-charging capabilities. At present, there is no word on the launch date of the device.

OnePlus is rumoured to launch a new Nord branded phone in February in India. This device is likely to be priced under Rs 20,000 in the Indian market. According to a recent leak by reliable tipster Max Jambor, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G may go official on February 11th, 2021. It is unclear whether the Nord 2T will debut alongside the Nord CE 2 5G or separately through a dedicated launch event.
