OxygenOS 11 brings several system changes such as a brand-new UI design with various customisations and improved experience for some third-party apps. The update includes Always on Display (AOD) customisations that allow users to make use of the AMOLED panel of the OnePlus Nord to display important notifications without turning on the entire screen. The Canvas AOD can be used to set a black-and-white version of an image on the lock screen.

The new update brings a Dark Mode functionality, which can be set to turn on automatically by setting the desired time range. Other new changes available with the new update include a new weather widget, a new shelf UI, and a story feature for the Gallery app.

How to install the OxygenOS 11 on OnePlus Nord

Since the OxygenOS 11 has arrived as an OTA update, OnePlus Nord users will see a notification for the OS update. If the notification has not arrived yet, users can navigate to Settings > System > System updates. If the update does not show up here, users are required to wait for a couple of days for it to arrive. In order to install the update successfully, the OnePlus Nord should have at least 3GB of free space and above 30 percent battery power.
