OnePlus Nord CE 5G to launch in June

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G (OnePlus Nord pictured above) will launch in India on June 10th
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau revealed that the letters “CE” in OnePlus CE stand for Core Edition. He said, “We have distilled the original Nord down to its core elements and added a few extra features to create a great everyday phone at an even more affordable price.” Hence, it is likely that the phone could be priced lower than the OnePlus Nord, which is available at a starting price of Rs 24,999. Apart from India, the Nord CE 5G will be also available in European markets.
There is no information available on the specifications of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G and N200 5G. The latter will be aimed at the US market and is unlikely to arrive in India. It will be one of the most affordable 5G smartphones to arrive in North America.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G does not appear to be a direct successor for the OnePlus Nord, which indicates that the brand could be planning to launch the OnePlus Nord 2 at a later date. It is speculated that the Nord 2 with a Dimensity 1200 chip may debut in Q3 this year.
