The OnePlus Nord CE 5G (Core Edition) has launched in India. OnePlus says that the phone is built on the core aspects of the regular Nord, while being priced cheaper. The OnePlus Nord CE 5G has debuted alongside the OnePlus TV U1S.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G looks identical to the standard Nord, but comes with slightly toned-down specifications. The latest offering is also priced under Rs 25,000, and competes against the likes of the OPPO F19 Pro+ 5G, Realme X7 5G (review), Redmi Note 10 Pro Max (review) and others in the market.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G will go on pre-order from tomorrow with open sales commencing from June 16th. The smartphone can be purchased from Amazon, OnePlus’ website, and OnePlus Exclusive Stores in the country.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G offers a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a punch-hole cutout at the top right corner. The display features FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate and an integrated fingerprint scanner. The back panel comes with a vertically stacked camera module that is similar to the standard Nord.
In the photography department, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G sports triple rear cameras. The setup consists of a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP mono unit. The device features a 16MP front-facing camera. There is a nightscape mode, ultrashot HDR, pro mode, 4K video recording and more features on the smartphone.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G houses the Snapdragon 750G processor with an integrated X52 5G modem. It is coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphone draws its power from a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for Warp Charge 30T fast charging. Software-wise, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G runs on OxygenOS 11 based on the latest Android 11. The brand is promising two years of software updates and three years of security updates for the smartphone.
