The OnePlus Nord N200 5G launch seems to be drawing near. OnePlus has shared an official render of the phone along with a few key details with PC Mag. This handset will be succeeding the OnePlus Nord N100 that debuted last year.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau had revealed last week that the N200 5G will be releasing in markets like the US and Canada, and it will not be coming to India. While OnePlus is yet to confirm the launch date of the N200 5G, a tweet popular tipster Mukul Sharma reveals that it may go official on June 15th.
OnePlus Nord N200 5G design
The OnePlus Nord N200 5G can be seen sporting a punch-hole display with a slightly thick bottom bezel. The power button available on the right edge of the phone appears to doubles up as a fingerprint scanner. Its left edge, which seems to be equipped with a volume rocker is not properly visible in the images.
The rear shell of the N200 5G looks plastic. The rear camera module placed on its top-left corner comprises a triple camera unit and an LED flash.
OnePlus N200 5G specifications, price
The N200 5G will be sporting a 6.49-inch LCD panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution. OnePlus revealed that it will be featuring the same display that was made available on the OnePlus N10 5G. In comparison, the N100 was a 4G LTE phone that featured an HD+ display.
The design of the N200 5G is somewhat similar to the CAD renders of an upcoming OnePlus phone that was shared by popular tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer in March. The CAD renders had revealed that it measures 162.9 x 74.7 x 8.4mm and it has a 3.5mm audio jack.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau revealed to PC through an email interview, “From the premium and ultra-premium OnePlus 9 series to the OnePlus Nord N200 5G—our newest and most affordable 5G device ever—we’re providing more choices and easier access to 5G for our users.” The handset may debut with a sub-$250 price tag in the US, making this the most affordable 5G phone from the brand.
