OnePlus Nord OxygenOS 11 beta update: how to install
On the company’s official forum, OnePlus recommends 3GB free storage space and at least 30 percent remaining battery on the OnePlus Nord before users proceed to install the update. The company has also shared instructions on how to install the beta update. Before installing, users are advised to take a backup of their device in case they want to revert from the latest beta to the stable build, since this procedure will erase their data.

OnePlus Nord Oxygen OS 11 beta: new features
As per the changelog, the Open Beta 1 update for Android 11 on OnePlus Nord brings various new features and changes. The Dark Mode can be accessed by pulling down the quick settings and users can also customise the timing to enable it automatically. The new update adds a fresh UI visual design and an Insight clock style that changes according to the phone’s usage data.
The beta version introduces a new ‘Canvas’ feature that can automatically draw a wireframe picture based on a lock screen photo on the phone. The OxygenOS 11 also brings ten new clock styles, new shelf design interface and a weather widget. It makes loading speed of gallery and image preview faster. The latest beta update also brings optimised stability to third-party applications.
As mentioned earlier, the beta build is expected to be buggy and might come with random issues. If the OnePlus Nord is your daily driver, it’s better to wait for the stable update that could be rolled out in the coming weeks.
