The publication has claimed that the first Nord series phone arriving in 2021 will be the OnePlus Nord SE. It has also revealed key details on its specifications and release date. Unlike the Nord N10 5G and N100, the Nord SE will be available in wider markets.

OnePlus Nord SE specifications and features

OnePlus Nord

The OnePlus Nord is the first Nord series device from the brand

Codenamed ‘Ebba’, the OnePlus Nord SE will arrive with an AMOLED screen, which indicates that it will be a phone with better specs than the Nord N10 5G and N100 that are equipped with LCD panels. While the OnePlus Nord is equipped with the Snapdragon 765G, it is unclear which processor is present under the hood of the Nord SE.

The OnePlus 8T (review) flagship that went official in October came with a 4,500mAh battery and 65W Warp Charge. The upcoming Nord SE is also expected to house the same battery capacity and fast charging speeds. 65W charging, it can be charged completely in less than 40 minutes. Unfortunately, the other details of the smartphone such as processor, RAM, storage and cameras are under wraps.

OnePlus Nord SE availability and release date

While the OnePlus Nord was the bestselling phone in the Rs 20,000 – Rs 30,000 price segment in India this year, the Nord N10 5G and N10 are were only released in the US and Europe. However, OnePlus has different plans for the Nord SE, which will be sold in both India and Europe, with sales in the US being undecided at present. The phone is expected to go on sale soon after the OnePlus 9, which is slated to be announced in March 2021.

There is no word on its pricing, but considering that the Nord SE has a larger battery and faster charging support than the standard Nord, we expect it to be priced higher.
