Recently OnePlus confirmed the launch of its affordable smartphone series, that will be coming to Europe and India first. The brand is gearing up to launch its upcoming phones next month, although the exact date is not announced yet. As per past reports, the affordable OnePlus smartphone is rumoured to be called OnePlus 8 Lite, OnePlus Z or OnePlus Nord.

Now Amazon has put up a dedicated microsite with ‘Notify Me’ button for the upcoming OnePlus smartphone. It doesn’t reveal any other details, but confirms that the device will go on sale via the shopping platform. The OnePlus Z or OnePlus Nord will arrive as the successor to the OnePlus X launched way back in 2015.

Based on past reports, the OnePlus Z or OnePlus Nord will feature a punch-hole AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate panel. It will come with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is expected to sport triple camera setup comprising a 48MP or 64MP main shooter.
The OnePlus Z or OnePlus Nord will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 765G processor with support for 5G connectivity. The device will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery unit with 30W fast charging support.
Recently, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau conducted a poll on Twitter asking fans to choose among premium features. The majority of users voted for a 120Hz QHD+ Fluid Display, followed by 48MP main and ultra-wide camera and 30W wireless charging. It’s likely that the upcoming OnePlus Z or OnePlus Nord could come with one or two of the aforementioned premium features.

The upcoming OnePlus phone is expected to debut with a mid-range price tag, and go on sale next month. We will learn more about the smartphone in coming weeks.
