The new OnePlus Launcher was first spotted by Android Police. It is available on Google Play Store with version number 5.0.2.4. You can click on the link here and install it on your smartphone. Only OnePlus users can install the launcher on their devices. As users of older OnePlus smartphones wait for the next major OS update, they can install the latest version of the custom launcher that gives them a slight feel of new software in the meantime.

The OnePlus Launcher version 5.0.2.4 is available for phones running Android 10. This includes the OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 7 series, OnePlus 7T series and the original OnePlus Nord. According to Android Police, an OnePlus spokesperson confirmed that the updated launcher will be available later this week for OnePlus Nord N10 5G and N100.

The updated OnePlus launcher brings a new Shelf design, app drawer tweaks and new search gestures. However, there’s no Google Discover support yet. There are also general bug fixes and improvements.

Meanwhile, OnePlus is pushing Oxygen OS 11 based Android 11 beta builds to the OnePlus 7 and 7T series, so it should receive an official stable update in the coming weeks. The OnePlus 6 and 6T is expected to enter the beta stage sometime after the OnePlus 7 series.
