OnePlus Pad India launch has been tipped. OnePlus, OPPO, Vivo, and Realme brands belong to China-based BBK Electronics. OnePlus is the only brand among the four that has not entered the tablet market yet. New information that has appeared now reveals that the OnePlus Pad 5G (tentative name) will not only arrive in China but also in India and other markets.
The OnePlus Pad 5G rumours have revealed that it could be arriving with flagship specs. Reports have claimed that it has an OLED screen, a Snapdragon 8-series chipset, a massive battery, and dual rear cameras.

The OnePlus Pad trademark was filed in India in July 2021. In the same month, the moniker was trademarked by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the OnePlus tablet was previously listed as “Marked for Exam” and is now finally registered in the country. He further revealed that the internal testing of the OnePlus Pad has already started in India. Hence, it appears that it may not take too long for the first-ever OnePlus tablet to arrive in India.
OnePlus Pad 5G specifications (rumoured)
In March, tipster ShadowLeak shared the key specifications of the OnePlus Pad 5G. According to the leak, the OnePlus tablet will feature a 12.4-inch OLED panel, which will carry support for a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 865 chipset will power the device. It will be paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage.
The OnePlus Pad 5G will come with a 10,090mAh battery that supports 45W rapid charging. It will come with an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual rear cameras. The OnePlus tablet will run on the Android 12L OS. It is expected to arrive with other features such as a side-facing fingerprint scanner, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. There is no word on a WiFi + cellular variant for the tablet.

The OnePlus Pad 5G with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is expected to cost RMB 2,999 (~Rs 34,550) in China. It is unclear whether the tablet will come in other memory configurations. Previous reports have claimed that it will debut in the first half of 2022.
