OnePlus Pad moniker gets trademarked by EUIPO

OnePlus Pad

OnePlus Pad has appeared on EUIPO

The EUIPO trademark listing confirms the name of the first OnePlus tablet. It will be called the OnePlus Pad. The trademark was filed on July 1st, 2021 with filling number 018504798. The trademark application is said to be under examination.

The EUIPO trademark doesn’t reveal any key specifics of the OnePlus Pad. However, we expect more information to surface in the coming months. The OnePlus Pad will likely compete against the likes of Apple’s iPad and Samsung’s Galaxy Tabs in the market.

Apart from OnePlus, other BBK group brands like OPPO, Realme, and Vivo are also working to launch their own tablets. Realme has already confirmed the launch of its Realme Book (laptop) and Realme Pad (tablet). So it makes sense for OnePlus to follow suit. Additionally, the OnePlus Pad trademark listing also comes weeks after the brand announced a merger with OPPO on a deeper level. OnePlus has also integrated OxygenOS and ColorOS at a codebase level.
