OnePlus has finally launched its much-awaited Android tablet, OnePlus Pad, in India. It was launched along with OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 11R at today’s OnePlus Cloud 11 launch event.
Let us talk about OnePlus Pad in detail here in this post.
OnePlus Pad: Key Features and Specifications
OnePlus Pad has an interesting design that we have yet to see in a tablet. It features a circular camera bump on the back, which is placed in the centre of the device. Most of the tablets available in the market currently come with a corner-mounted camera; this is an interesting design choice from OnePlus. The frame is aluminium and has provisions for attaching its magnetic keyboard and stylus on the sides. It is available in a single colour – Halo Green, the same one as its flagship OnePlus 11.
On the front, we get an 11.6-inch LCD with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a resolution of 2800×2000. The display supports HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision. It comes with a 7:5 ratio, something unique! OnePlus also boasts 2048 levels of brightness for the device. The tablet comes with a Quad speaker setup, which OnePlus says brings an omnibearing sound field.
OnePlus Pad is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. It is one of the most powerful SoCs from MediaTek’s portfolio and can certainly handle any tasks you throw at it. It is also among the fastest Android tablets available currently.
The tablet is backed by a 9510mAh battery with a fast charging support of 67W. OnePlus boasts a 1-month stand-by time for the tablet. The tablet weighs 552g and has a thickness of 6.54mm.
OnePlus Pad comes with OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box. The tablet integrates pretty well with OnePlus phones. It can show OTP from your phone, has cellular data sharing and even support Rich Text Messages.
OnePlus Pad comes with two in-box accessories – Stylo (OnePlus’ stylus) and a magnetic keyboard.
OnePlus Pad: Price and Availability
OnePlus technically launched the device on February 7, but the company is saying it might take April for OnePlus Pad to be available. OnePlus just announced that OnePlus Pad would be available for Pre-orders starting in April. It did not mention the variants or prices for the tablet.
OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro
OnePlus also launched its first mechanic keyboard at the Cloud 11 event. It comes with a clean design, a white one at that. In true OnePlus fashion, the escape key is swapped out for the OnePlus logo.
It comes with swappable switches, but OnePlus hasn’t mentioned which switches it uses for the keyboard.
The keyboard will be available in April, and the pricing of the keyboard wasn’t revealed as well.
