Upcoming OnePlus smartphones launch timeline tipped
As per Brar, the OnePlus 10 Pro will be the first device to debut this month. This is quite evident from the brand’s teasers on social media handles. The flagship device had debuted in China in January this year. The global variant of the smartphone is expected to retain the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is the next in line and is tipped to launch in April. It will be positioned lower than the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G. The Lite model has already been spotted in leaks and rumours. The leaked design schematic of the smartphone revealed a rectangular camera module housing three sensors, a power key with an integrated fingerprint scanner on the right and volume rocker on the left. Reports indicate that the Nord CE 2 Lite will come with a 6.58-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 695, 5,000mAh battery and 33W fast charging.
The OnePlus Nord 2T is already in the testing phase in India. It is reportedly codenamed Karen and is said to debut at the end of April or early May. Leaked renders of the smartphone have revealed a dual-toned back with the camera module in a matte blue finish and the rest of the panel in a black sandstone finish. The OnePlus 10R is tipped to go official in May. It will arrive as the successor to last year’s OnePlus 9R. The smartphone has reportedly entered private testing in India and is codenamed ‘pickle’. The OnePlus 10R is expected to pack a 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 9000 chipset, and 80W fast charging.
Brar adds that in July this year, OnePlus will launch the Nord 3 as the successor to the Nord 2. To jog your memory, the OnePlus Nord 2 (review) had also debuted in July last year. A report by Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station reveals that the upcoming Nord 3 will sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by a Dimensity 8100 SoC coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphone is rumoured to support 150W fast charging.
Lastly, the OnePlus 10 Ultra (Pro+) is said to debut in the late third quarter of the year. It is expected to be an enhanced version of the OnePlus 10 Pro. Not much is known about the OnePlus 10 Ultra at the moment.
