OnePlus is gearing up to launch its second-generation OnePlus TVs (2020) in India on July 2nd. The brand has already teased the pricing of these TVs with an entry-level model priced under Rs 20,000, a mid-range offering under Rs 30,000 and a top-of-the-line model under Rs 50,000. Pete Lau has confirmed several key details of the upcoming TVs already.
Additionally, a new report by 247Techie has revealed the display sizes and the screen resolution of the upcoming TV series in India. This report has also been backed by the popular tipster Mukul Sharma, better known as StuffListings. Sharma also tweeted an Amazon listing for the wall mount bracket for the 55-inch OnePlus TV with model number 55U1.

OnePlus took to Twitter to hint at the pricing of its upcoming TVs ahead of the official launch. The brand had already teased the pricing of the entry-level model to be under Rs 20,000 earlier. Now, as you can see in the tweet above, OnePlus has also teased the price of other variants in the lineup. According to the tweet, the mid-range TV will be priced at Rs 2X,999 and the high-end model will retail at Rs 4X,999, which means we can expect them to be priced under Rs 30,000 and Rs 50,000, respectively.
OnePlus TVs (2020) display sizes and resolution leaked
According to the report by 24tTechie, OnePlus will launch a flagship model with a 55-inch display. This model is expected to be identical to the OnePlus Q1 series from the last year. The other two models will have 32-inch and 43-inch display panels for the entry and mid-range offerings, respectively. The premium model is tipped to feature a 4K UHD panel. The OnePlus TV (2020) 32-inch and 43-inch models will come with HD and Full HD resolution, respectively.
The report reveals that the 55-inch OnePlus TV (2020) model will feature a premium design with stock OnePlus TV apps, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support. Both affordable models will feature only the 93 percent NTSC LED panel with support for Dolby Audio.
Some of the features confirmed by Pete Lau include a ‘Cinematic Display’, Gamma Engine, an ultra-slim design, carbon fibre finish at the back, and a screen-to-body ratio as high as 95 percent. We will know more when TVs go official this Thursday.
OnePlus TVs (2020) pre-booking starts on Amazon
Speaking of the launch, OnePlus is already accepting pre-orders for the upcoming TVs on Amazon till July 2nd. Users can pre-book the upcoming TVs by paying Rs 1,000 for Acko’s two year free extended warranty on the upcoming TVs. The extended warranty is priced at Rs 2,999 but in partnership with OnePlus, it’s being offered at Rs 1,000. However, the warranty is essentially free, as the amount will be refunded to the customer through Amazon Pay, if the TV purchase is made before August 5th.
