OnePlus has today introduced the all new Type C Bullets earphones, an updated version of for the well-received Bullets V2 wired headphones that was unveiled in 2016. The Type C Bullets carries a price tag of Rs. 1,490. As of this writing, it is not available for buying, but the company has confirmed that it will be announced alongside the company’s next device that is slated to debut in Q4 this year.
The OnePlus Type C Bullets earphones can be linked to the USB Type C port on the smartphones, tablets and laptops. The metallic design of the Type C Bullets is very similar to Bullets V2. However, the inclusion of stretch-resistant Aramid fiber makes the Type C Bullets more durable.
For an enhanced audio experience, the Type C Bullets will come equipped with an inbuilt DAC by Ciruss Logic that offer higher dynamic range, better signal-to-noise ratio and a low noise floor. Compared to conventional and analog 3.5mm headphones, there is miniscule loss of quality in audio output through Type C Bullets. It also features a microphone and a button to play/pause music or receive phone calls.
Various smartphones from leading companies such as Apple, Google, Huawei, Xiaomi and so on have launched phones without the 3.5mm audio jack. Earlier in this week, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei had confirmed that the OnePlus 6T will not be featuring a 3.5mm audio jack. Pei claimed that the company decided to axe the feature to make more internal space for improved battery and newer technology. Priced at Rs. 1,490, the new earphones will be available for buying online and offline.
As far as OnePlus 6T is concerned, the handset is speculated to go official on October 17th. It is likely to feature an AMOLED screen with waterdrop notch. The display of the phone is expected to be embedded with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The other rumored specs of the phone include Gorilla Glass 6 screen protection, Snapdragon 845, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, Android 9 Pie and a larger battery than OnePlus 6.
