OnePlus Warp Charge 30 Wireless Charger launched in India for Rs 3,990

OnePlus’ latest flagship, the OnePlus 8 Pro, is the first phone from the brand to feature wireless charging. Alongside the launch of the OnePlus 8 series, the brand also announced its first wireless charger, the Warp Charge 30 Wireless Charger, which as the name suggests is capable of 30W wireless charging speeds.

Now the charger has popped up on the company’s website with its price, but it’s still listed as ‘Coming Soon’. Pricebaba had exclusively reported the pricing of OnePlus’ wireless charger, and the pricing on the wbesite confirms our information was correct.

Notably, this price is also more aggressive than in the US, where the charger has a price tag of $69.95 which is approximately Rs 5,320. Currently, the charger is only available in a white colour option and it is expected to start selling in May, alongside the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro.

OnePlus Warp Charge 30 Wireless Charger specifications and features

The Warp Charge 30 Wireless Charger is one of the fastest wireless charging solutions in the market. It delivers 30W wireless charging speeds, but only on the OnePlus 8 Pro since it uses proprietary technology. To counter any heating issues due to fast charging, the charger has a fan for cooling the device. The charger is still Qi/EPP compatible which means it can wirelessly charge other devices as well, but only at 10W speeds.

As for the OnePlus 8 Pro, the company has claimed that the device can be charged from 0-50 in 30 minutes which is incredible for wireless charging standards. There are some other features on the charger as well, such as Bedtime mode which will reduce the noise output while you’re asleep, but reduce the charging speeds to 10W. There is also a Foreign Object Detection feature which powers off the device if a foreign metal object is detected on the charging stand.
