OnePlus Watch is all set to debut alongside the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro flagship phones on March 23rd in India. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has now shared some key details of the company’s first smartwatch ahead of the launch.

Lau confirmed through a post on OnePlus forums that the smartwatch will be called OnePlus Watch. He claimed that it is designed to offer seamless connectivity between other OnePlus products. He also revealed that the OnePlus Watch has an impressive design and will arrive with an affordable price tag.

Lau claimed that users of the OnePlus Watch will be able to seamlessly connect with OnePlus smartphones, smartwear, audio devices, and OnePlus TVs. In terms of design, it will reportedly stand out from the other smartwatches available in the market.
As far as the pricing is concerned, Lau claimed that the OnePlus Watch will offer a “best-in-class experience at an affordable price point.” At present, there is no information available on the pricing of the device.
One of the recent tweets from OnePlus showcases the silhouette of the OnePlus Watch. It reveals that the device will be sporting a circular dial. Another tweet reveals that the OnePlus Watch will be able to count steps and monitor heart rate.
A tweet by Lau suggests that the OnePlus Watch will offer some level of water resistance. Through another forum post, he revealed that the wearable device will run on a smart wear OS developed based on RTOS, as opposed to Wear OS by Google.

An exclusive leak that was published on Pricebaba yesterday revealed that the OnePlus Watch is equipped with a 46mm dial. The smartwatch will offer health-focused features such as automatic workout detection, an SpO2 sensor, stress tracker, sleep monitor, and a swimming mode.
Thanks to the presence of Warp Charge, the OnePlus Watch will be able to last for a week with a 20 minute charge. It is expected to offer other features such as 4GB of built-in storage, notifications support, answer phone calls, music control, IP68 dust and water-resistance, ability to work as a remote control for OnePlus TV, and colour variants like Silver and Black.
