  • OPPO A1 Pro 5G is reportedly in the works for the global market
  • A leaked image of the device has surfaced
  • It may feature a 120Hz AMOLED display and a 108MP primary camera

OPPO A1 Pro 5G could be in the works for the global market. Today, reputed tipster Evan Blass released a leaked image of the device. The image reveals that the device has two camera rings on the back, which are followed by a glittery pattern. The first camera ring seems to house the primary camera, while the second one seems to house two auxiliary cameras and an LED flash.

As can be seen below, Blass’ tweet reads, “OPPO A1 Pro 5G (a.k.a. A98, PHQ110),” which indicates that it will be rebranded version of the OPPO A98 that has not launched yet. Several reports have claimed that the A98 will be debuting in the next few days in China. It appears its tweaked version will be marketed as the OPPO A1 Pro 5G in the global market.

The overall design of the OPPO A1 Pro 5G matches the images of the OPPO A98 that recently surfaced on China’s TENAA certification platform. A careful look at the A98’s camera setup reveals that it has a triple camera unit, while the A1 Pro 5G is fitted with a dual-camera setup.

However, it appears that the rest of the specifications will be identical on both models. The specs of the A98 are no secret since they have been revealed through the TENAA certification.
