OPPO A12e

The OPPO A12e appears to be a rebranded A3s

The OPPO A12e has a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with a wide notch. It supports an aspect ratio of 19:9. The dated ColorOS 5.1 based Android 8.0 Oreo comes preloaded on the device. The handset comes with a Music Party function for connecting to other smartphones to play music simultaneously.

The outdated Snapdragon 450 mobile platform is present under the hood of the device along with 3GB of RAM. The device has an internal storage of 64GB. It has a microSD card slot for more storage.

The rear panel of the device has a horizontal camera system and an LED flash. It has a main 13-megapixel lens and a secondary 2MP shooter. The selfie camera is an 8-megapixel unit.

The OPPO A12e is fueled by 4,230mAh battery. However, there is no support for fast charging on the device. Also, it lacks support for fingerprint scanner. Hence, users will have to rely on face unlock for biometric recognition. It supports dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The specs and design of the OPPO A12e phone identical to the OPPOA3s that went official in India last year. The OPPO A11 didn’t make it to India. Hence, the OPPO A12 and A12e are unlikely to debut in the country. There is no word on the pricing of the A12e.
