OPPO A12s with Helio P35 and 13MP dual cameras launched: price, specifications

The OPPO A12s mid-range phone has gone official in Cambodia. It has arrived as the third member in the A12 series that includes other phones such as thr  OPPO A12e and OPPO A12. The OPPO A12s has debuted as a downgraded variant of the A12 phone that is available in India with a pricing of Rs 9,990.

Even in terms of appearance, the OPPO A12s bears resemblance with the OPPO A12. The A12s has a 3D diamond-cut design on its rear. The phone features a waterdrop notch display. It houses a large-sized battery and is flanked with a dual camera setup on its back.

OPPO A12s debuts with 6.2-inch display, Helio P35 and 4,230mAh battery

The OPPO A12s sports a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display that produces HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels and 450 nits brightness. It promises a screen-to-body ratio of 88.3 percent. The phone ships with the dated ColorOS 6.1 based Android 1.

The Helio P35 chipset powers the OPPO A12s and it houses a 4,230mAhb battery. The handset is equipped with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot. In comparison, the OPPO A12 is available in India with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage.

There is a 5-megapixel selfie camera coupled with AI Beauty feature on the frontside of the device. The back panel of the phone has an LED flash assisted horizontal camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel main shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Apart from rear-facing fingerprint sensor, the phone comes with face unlock biometric recognition feature.

OPPO A12s pricing and availability

The OPPO A12s is priced at $129 (~Rs 9,700) in Cambodia and it comes in color variants like Light Blue and Light Silver. There is no word on whether the phone will be made available in India.
